Lin: what to say about so many years of love, friendship and adventures. Calum’s fondest memory is the day he got his very first school uniform aged 4 and insisted on putting it all on for you. As a family we remember your big birthdays in our garden with a lot of fizz. For me, I’ll always treasure those amazing sporting trips to the European Championships and the Commonwealth Games. The diving, cycling, badminton, athletics all mixed in with an epic day taking tea on The Royal Yacht. A fitting activity for our very own HRH. Rest well our dear friend xxxxxxxxx

In Turkey 18years this last September we met Lin and Chris on holiday. From the moment we met we became great friends and shared our holidays with them from then on. Also lots of lovely adventures and outings. Those memories are with us as Lin made a big impact on our life and will always be in our thoughts.

You were my Mum but also my friend and my confidante and I will treasure the time that I had with you for as long as I live. I know you are not really gone, I carry you with me as does every member of our family, and we will all have our times and places when we will feel your presence still. I will miss the laughs, the day trips, the gardening assistance and advice and the unconditional love and support you gave me - thank you Mum for everything. xxx
